Our back drop, the 2008 U.S Olympic Track & Field Trials, were showcased by some fast, yet wind-aided races that basically were some of the fastest times ever run on the face of this earth! "I know a lil somethin' about that...heh..heh..heh. Told you I'm da Man!!!
Flying to Eugene was interesting, you see the weeks beforehand we were busy teaching speed in Richmond, Virginia.. Big ups Glen Allen, Paul Camaniti and our man...Bobby O "The MMM" But now in Track-Town USA, one can only feel the intensity of the heat that was on the track. And I do mean heat!
The men's 100m finals produced the fastest time ever run by man....yeah...we two legged beings affected by gravity! Our homie and fellow worlds fastest man ran 9.68!!!!!!! That deserves more than 3 exclamation points! Its crazy! 9.68. The world record is 9.72 by fast man Bolt! But windy or not Tyson ran 9.68. So you know what that means.........
He can long-toss a Baseball with himself....he can play catch with a Football with himself. Oh! and he is from Lexington, Kentucky! Land of blue grass and fast horses...and Mr.Tyson Gay!!!
Like we all know the Fastest is the Flyest...who says so? Ask me Kev O!!! I say so cause I AM the fastest and that makes me the flyest!!!
